As a Supply Chain Performance Manager in Caterpillar's Building Construction Products (BCP) division, you will lead a global team of supply chain professionals collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to improve supplier capability, quality, and delivery performance.
What You Will Do:
* Manage the daily and strategic operations of a global supply chain performance team.
* Lead capacity planning with suppliers, ensuring resource availability and technical support during production changes.
* Implement supplier value stream mapping, material flow improvements, and Build-In-Quality initiatives.
* Drive supplier management governance to enhance shipping and quality performance.
* Collaborate across functions to resolve supplier issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Coordinate with various supply chain functions to deploy development and capacity tools.
* Hire, develop, and motivate talent to achieve results.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in supply chain management with a relevant degree or equivalent.
* Knowledge of supply chain principles, ERP systems, and operational efficiencies.
* Experience collaborating with suppliers to improve performance.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Management experience with a focus on employee motivation.
* Certifications like APICS CPIM or CSPC are highly desirable.
* Experience with lean principles, Six Sigma, and value stream mapping.
