Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. This role is integral in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their development through engaging activities and play. Duties
* Create and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their child's development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience through teamwork and shared best practices.
* Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery standards.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
* Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
