Quality Assurance Team Leader – Ernest Jackson, Crediton
Mondelez International, a global snacking powerhouse, is seeking a passionate and dedicated QA Team Leader to join the Ernest Jackson site in Crediton.
Role Overview
As the QA Team Leader you will manage the QA Support Team, EJ HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP Plans, fostering a strong Food Safety & Quality culture across the Operations Supply Chain and building robust systems that meet legislative, regulatory, customer, and corporate requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the QA support team, promoting Quality & Food Safety culture across the Operations Supply Chain
* Maintain and improve EJ HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP plan documents and approvals
* Drive document product release on time and in full
* Assist in QER and CAPA closure
* Conduct internal audits
* Support the Supply Chain Continuous Improvement journey
* Contribute to project forums, ensuring Food Safety & Quality compliance
* Utilise communication skills to support understanding and adherence to compliance
What You Will Bring
* Experience managing a HACCP plan within a food environment
* Knowledge of food or medicated product regulations governing manufacture and distribution of final product
* Experience in Quality Assurance
* Experience managing and leading a team
* Experience in internal auditing
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & interpersonal) and the ability to foresee and communicate issues to enable swift resolution
* A collaborative working style and ability to build partnerships with key stakeholders
* Flexibility and open‑mindedness – enjoying ambiguity and change
* Proficiency with MS Office applications
Education / Certifications
HACCP Level 4 is preferred.
Job Specific Requirements
Monday to Friday, office and factory based – 100% time.
