The Role You'll become an integral part of a vibrant teaching team, responsible for: Planning, delivering, and assessing GCSE Maths and Essential Skills Numeracy. Acting as class tutor, offering administrative and pastoral support. Co-ordinating delivery and assessment across programmes. Developing and promoting ILT and library resources to enhance learning. Participating in quality assurance, continuous improvement, and compliance with awarding body standards. Engaging with external stakeholders to promote the provision. Supporting recruitment, induction, and marketing activity across the college. This role requires a flexible approach, with occasional evening work expected. The Ideal Candidate Hold GCSE English and Maths (A-C) or equivalent Essential Skills qualifications Educated to degree level with at least 50% of the course content in Mathematics Experience delivering/tutoring Essential Skills Numeracy or GCSE Mathematics Excellent administrative and planning skills Strong interpersonal and communication ability Desirable: A recognised teaching qualification Experience in delivering Essential Skills Literacy or ICT What's on Offer?
