: Venator is currently recruiting for a Shift Manager to join the ICON Operations team, Greatham site. The overall purpose of the Shift Manager role is to lead the ICON shift production teams on a 24-hour basis, determining and allocating resources as required to produce safe, quality tonnes in line with the production target. Job responsibilities include: Lead all ICON production related shift activities to achieve the desired production output safely, efficiently and effectively. Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure that the ICON operation is optimised for the benefit of the site and business as a whole. Lead and motivate the process technicians to meet the current operational demands and establish performance and development plans to meet future operational needs. Ensure compliance with standard work activities and site procedures to achieve high levels of operational excellence. Ensure all shift team training requirements are identified and completed in line with the training matrix and business requirements to meet current and future needs. Deliver aspects of the site EHS, production, cost and quality improvement plan to deliver the Greatham site blue chips and improvement A3s. Provide leadership in the event of a site emergency acting as the Incident Manager or Incident Controller representing the site and business in communications with external agencies. Lead and influence a positive values-based culture that drives high performance. Lead, performance manage, motivate and develop team members. Lead and drive continuous improvement within their shift teams ensuring a solution focused mindset to proactively resolve the issues. Provide operational support to workflow processes out of hour ensuring PTW, Entries & hot works are issued in a timely manner. Candidate requirements: Job-Related work experience, Skills/Knowledge Requirements: 5 years' experience in Engineering/Operational line management roles in an Upper tier COMAH environment. A confident leader who is able to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally. NVQ Level 3 in Process Operations and preferably a Higher National Certificate in a process or engineering discipline. Analytical and methodical problem solver.
