Duties of a Commercial Vehicle Technician:
* Conduct vehicle inspections and repairs to DVSA standards, including MOT preparation and presentation
* Diagnose faults using market-leading specialist diagnostic equipment
* Perform general mechanical and electrical repairs on various commercial vehicles
* Assist with offsite work, including breakdown attendance
* Provide excellent customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
* Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
* Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used
Requirements of a Commercial Vehicle Technician:
* Level 3 vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent skill level
* Experience acting as a Commercial Vehicle Technician or HGV Technician
* MOT licence is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work to high standards with attention to detail
* Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Awareness of health and safety practices in the workplace
* Own set of tools
* Full UK driving licence
* Flexibility to work on rotational shifts, including Saturdays (paid overtime)
