Marshfield Monkeys is looking to recruit a part time breakfast club assistant to work in their busy day care, wrap around & holiday club. CF3 area.

Marshfield Monkeys cares for children aged 2-11 years old. The job role is perfect for a fun, happy, enthusiastic driven, creative candidate who has bags of versatility.
Main Purpose of the Job:
To work in our breakfast club as part of a team under the direction of the manager to provide a fun, safe, high quality child led stimulating environment and care for young children.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting in:
* Helping set up activities for the daily programme, and to help tidy away at the end of each session.
* Contributing ideas towards the daily activities and experiences.
* Consult with the children as to their interests and ideas.
* Ensuring the overall safety and well-being of the children.
* Support children to prepare and serve own breakfast.
* Ensuring a good standard of hygiene.
* Taking part in regular fire drills.
* Record keeping.
* Attending relevant training.
* Assist with wrap around with local nursery and school.
Successful candidates will be required to provide references demonstrating the skills above and a disclosure barring service check in order to be considered for this position.
Must be available between Mon – Fri 7.30am - 9.30am.
Term time only contracts 4.7weeks of holiday entitlement.
Own transport would be desirable, due to the location of the setting, however public transport is also available. Full paid induction and training will be given prior to the start date.
Candidates MUST have a minimum level 2 qualification recognised by the Care Council for Wales quality framework or the Skills Active Qualification framework. Qualification framework e.g. CCLD, CCPLD or Playwork.
Salary dependant on experience and qualifications.
