Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 17:00pm (40-hour week with 1 hour for lunch)
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Purpose of the Role
To repair, modify, test, and release to service a variety of Garmin manufactured Avionics Products. The role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, good time management, and electronic servicing experience. The successful candidate will support the Aviation Repair administration.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Repair, modify, adjust, align, test, and finalize Garmin avionics equipment for service.
* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and FAA/CAA Part 145 requirements.
* Utilize the Oracle business system to support process flow within the Aviation Repair Department.
* Set up and operate various test equipment.
* Record, analyze, and interpret test data.
* Complete technical data on service reports and spreadsheets.
* Communicate technical issues accurately and confidently to colleagues, support personnel, and occasionally customers.
* Implement Engineering Change Orders related to repairs and updates.
* Assist with internal and external audits.
* Manage and process inventory within the department.
* Handle rework of Garmin Avionic products and process core returns to Olathe.
* Perform any other duties assigned by the Aviation Service Manager within your capabilities.
Education & Experience
* City and Guilds Electronic Repair or equivalent experience.
* Experience in electronic servicing.
