Job Title: General Manager
Salary: Up to £130,000

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute General Manager to provide integrated leadership across our client’s operational functions. This is a pivotal executive role responsible for aligning, empowering and holding accountable the department leaders to deliver safe, efficient, compliant and high-performing operations.
This is not a hands-on functional role, it is about orchestrating excellence through strong leadership, clarity and coordination.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven executive-level operational leadership experience exclusively in a manufacturing environment
* Strong track record of leading through managers of manufacturing/engineering departments
* Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments
* Ability to balance delivery, quality, cost, and customer expectations
* Commercial acumen and financial literacy
* Exceptional stakeholder and cross-functional leadership skills
* Calm, structured decision-maker who brings clarity to complexity
* Previous experience in a low volume high value environment preferred.
* Experience working within a precision engineering or machine shop environment.
