Churchview Surgery is looking to appoint a salaried general practitioner to join our well‑established, high‑achieving practice.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and innovative GP with strong clinical skills to join our small, friendly, GMS/EMIS practice.
Main duties of the job
* Deliver a mix of routine and urgent GP consultations, including face‑to‑face, telephone and home visits as appropriate
* Carry out appropriate referrals, investigating and prescribing
* Ensure safe and effective clinical decision‑making and safety‑netting
* Manage a wide range of chronic and acute conditions
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
* Participate in clinical meetings
* Work collaboratively with the whole general practice team

We are a fully computerised (EMIS system) practice, able to offer face‑to‑face, telephone and video consultations to our 6100‑person population as well as home visits to our house‑bound patients. Location: We are based in the small town of Old Hill, easily accessible via public transport.

Experience
* Experience of working in a primary care environment
* Experience of continued professional development
* Experience of QOF, PCCF and clinical audit
* Experience of medicines management
* Experience of ICB initiatives
* General understanding of the GMS contract
* Experience of EMIS
* Experience of Microsoft programmes
* Experience of Docman
* Previous experience in UK general practice
Qualifications
* Qualified GP
* GMC registered general practitioner
