National Senior Strategic Sales Manager - Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding
Location: Flexible (UK / Hybrid)
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance, Bonus / Commission

The Opportunity
You'll be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for key trade lanes, expanding the company's footprint with mid-to-large clients, and delivering sustainable, profitable growth. This is a role for a confident relationship builder who understands how to win complex business through trust, credibility, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans across Air & Ocean freight products.
* Identify and convert new business opportunities with high-value clients throughout England and the UK.
* Build long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring consistent service quality and retention.
* Collaborate with operations, pricing, and global network partners to deliver tailored logistics solutions.
* Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform commercial strategy.
* Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Key Experience;
* Proven track record in Air and/or Ocean freight forwarding sales.
* Strong understanding of global trade routes, carrier relationships, and pricing structures.
* Skilled negotiator with experience closing six- and seven-figure deals.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term growth and short-term targets.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer value.
