We are seeking an engineer to join our Fracture and Fatigue Integrity Management section. The primary responsibilities of this section involve fatigue and fracture design and consultancy services, and organising mechanical testing of materials (tensile, fatigue, fracture, crack growth, creep, etc.), using standardised and bespoke methodologies, in air and aggressive environments. The properties and material performance characterisation derived from these testing programmes are then used by us, to help make integrity management decisions to support our clients (including through the use of fitness-for-service and risk-based assessment approaches). Therefore, this role would suit a mechanical engineer with an interest, and ideally, prior experience, in mechanical testing, and/or structural integrity assessment, to lead and contribute to these projects.
