Job Description
We are expanding our Road Operations team and need enthusiastic people with the skills and experience to deliver our ambitious agenda to provide maximum economic benefit for Renfrewshire.
You will have a passion for providing high quality services to the public and for making improvements across Renfrewshire.
Responsibilities
* Delivery of Water Course Maintenance requirements.
* Dealing with operational flooding and drainage improvements across our network.
* Working with contractors, monitoring their performance onsite and tracking work timescales/targets.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role with substantial experience in multi-disciplinary project work and knowledge of the relevant legislation.
* Experience working with contractors and monitoring performance.
* Effective organisational, presentation, time management and written and verbal communication skills, and ability to develop and sustain relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
* Proven track record in financial management, risk management, accountability for decisions and effective project management and co-ordination skills.
* Relevant professional qualification in flooding or drainage, or equivalent.
* Current full driving licence.
