We are at the beginning of a global energy transformation of a scale not seen in generations. A future low-cost, low-carbon electric grid, serving a world that electrifies everything, is within our reach. The last remaining gap is breaking the link between electricity supply and demand. The lowest-cost, most sustainable sources of energy today come from intermittent renewable generation; but our homes, businesses and industries need electricity at the flick of a switch. That gap can be closed by energy storage: Devices that store electricity when it is plentiful, then provide power back to the grid when it is needed. Solutions, including ones using lithium-ion batteries, are being deployed in massive numbers to start filling this gap. But so far, none of those solutions have proven the ability to deliver power any time, anywhere, over decades of service: The level of reliability we’ve come to expect, and that the future grid will need. This is the biggest challenge in energy today. Invinity is at the forefront of finding a solution. And we need you to help us deliver it. Developed, manufactured and delivered by our teams in Canada and the UK, Invinity’s vanadium flow batteries (or “VFBs”) can be installed anywhere and consistently deliver electricity as needed over a service life exceeding 30 years. Moreover, Invinity’s VFBs are highly recyclable, don’t rely on rare or conflict minerals, and won’t catch fire. Invinity is a global VFB leader, with over 190 megawatt-hours of its batteries operational or in construction for over 82 projects across 15 countries - more than any other emerging energy storage provider. We’ve deployed the largest flow battery systems in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and the UK. Along the way we’ve earned financial support from the UK Infrastructure Bank, the U.S. Department of Energy, and some of the world’s leading institutional investors. The energy transition means, fundamentally, a push toward electrification using renewable energy. Renewable energy’s intermittent nature is tamed by energy storage, and not just any storage, but large-scale, long-duration and robust stationary energy storage. That’s where Invinity comes in. We make flow batteries that store energy in a liquid electrolyte containing vanadium. Invinity’s vanadium flow batteries are highly advanced versions of this proven technology. Invinity is deploying large-scale projects throughout the UK and internationally. Working closely with Supply Chain, Production, Finance and Sales teams you will oversee the development and execution of production schedules, with a primary focus on accurately predicting delivery dates and preventing delays. This role will ensure all factors affecting production—such as resource availability, staffing, inventory, and external dependencies—are effectively managed. This pivotal role requires strategic planning, strong leadership, and effective collaboration across departments. Responsibilities Develop and maintain an accurate production schedule that aligns with customer demands, inventory targets, ensuring on-time deliveries and minimising delays. Using business ERP scheduling software, PowerBI and other data analysis tools to track progress and performance, making real-time adjustments to optimise resource utilisation and maintain delivery timelines, applying to manufacturing and purchasing requirements. Coordinate with various departments - Production, Purchasing, Sales and design – to ensure all materials and resources are available and that the schedule is adjusted proactively for any external or internal delays. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, ensuring key planning dates are met and identify when projects are falling behind schedule. Move data analysis from Adhoc, just in time to embedded behaviours within Operations, applying learnings from LEAN manufacturing. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPI's) using ERP and other internal systems to drive material availability. Communicate with purchasing and receiving to ensure all necessary parts are available. Lead cross-functional teams to review production progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment. Communicate production schedules, updates, and performance metrics to stakeholders at all levels. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce lead times, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Work closely with Engineering to ensure all changes are implemented internally and externally. Externally - Contract manufacturers and procurement to ensure implementation and cut in Internally – Purchasing for project requirements met latest revision requirements. Ensure customer operations requirements are planned and managed to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely manor. Participate in the governance of the ad hoc projects and adequately maintain the performance indicators of these projects according to the material ordered Interact with several multifunctional teams (Production, Procurement, Engineering, Quality Finance) Provide support on all tactical day-to-day activities that arise Maintain organised files for all documents, across all systems based on existing processes and procedures Develop and manage artifacts (documentation), working with Logistics, Facilitate manage international shipments ensuring adherence to Invinity processes.
