Cygnet Healthcare is looking for Bank Learning Disabilities Support Workers to join our team working at Cygnet Ashbrook. Cygnet Ashbrook has 9 self-contained bungalows supporting adults over the age of 18 with learning difficulties & autism located in Bordsley Green. Day Shifts: 07:45 am till 08:00 pm Night Shifts: 07:45 pm till 08:00 am Cygnet Ashbrook is a supported living service that supports individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. Individuals are supported to hold their own tenancy agreement with a registered housing association. Individuals who are interested in living here may have previously been detained within a hospital setting and are ready for a step-down placement within their local community. About the Role Helping to promote resident independence Supporting residents in all aspects of day-to-day life, encouraging and promoting independence Monitoring of residents and reporting concerns to senior team members or managers Going out with residents into the local community to attend events, parks, restaurants and local activities Completing the resident’s records to help monitor health You Positive Attitude and Caring Approach Strong Communication Skills Able to work as part of a team What Cygnet Offers: Salary: £13.87 per hour (inclusive of 12.1% A/L allowance) Paid Breaks Paid Training and Inductions Free DBS Free parking onsite.
