Working at our Ditton Field sports ground, we have an opportunity for a confident host to welcome visitors on Saturdays and provide a vigilant security presence.
Role Summary
The main purpose of this role is to welcome all students, parents, and visitors to Ditton Field from 8.00am until 2.00pm each Saturday during term time and to ensure that no one is able to access the site without permission.
Responsibilities
* Welcome all stakeholders to Ditton Field on Saturdays.
* Maintain a vigilant security presence and prevent unauthorised access.
* Apply Safeguarding and Health & Safety knowledge to protect pupils, staff, and visitors.
* Comply with all school safeguarding procedures.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills.
* Thorough knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
* Previous experience in a security or educational setting is highly desirable.
Safeguarding and Screening
Prior to interview, an online search will be conducted to identify any past or current incidents or issues that might affect your suitability to work with children and undertake this role. This is in line with guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education. The search will focus on publicly available information and will be limited to issues relating to suitability in a school environment. Issues that arise will not automatically be a bar to employment at the school.

Pay
Hourly rate: £14 per hour.
