Technical Sales Engineer

The Role
Our is now looking to appoint a Technical Sales Engineer to support ongoing growth and strengthen relationships with both customers and suppliers.
This role is ideal for someone with a hands-on engineering background who enjoys combining technical knowledge with customer interaction. You will act as a key technical point of contact, advising on tooling solutions, understanding customer requirements, and helping to drive sales through expertise and trust.
Candidate Requirements

Proven technical background in CNC machining background (milling, drilling, turning etc.)
*
Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling applications
*
Experience dealing with customers and suppliers, ideally in a face-to-face environment
*
Confident communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
*
Proactive, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business
*
Commercial awareness with a customer-focused mindset
Key Responsibilities
*
Provide technical sales support for smart tooling solutions
*
Engage with customers face to face to understand machining requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
*
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure technical accuracy and delivery
*
Demonstrate strong understanding of machining processes, including CNC milling, drilling, and turning
*
Support business development activities through technical input and relationship building
*
Maintain a professional, consultative approach with customers at all times
*
