Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices and demonstrate a commitment to patient care. This role involves working closely with dentists to provide high-quality dental services, ensuring patients receive the best possible care in a comfortable environment.
Duties
* Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients, utilising appropriate techniques and tools.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing and flossing techniques.
* Assist in the development of individualised treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
* Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to assist in the creation of dental restorations when necessary.
* Conduct medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal patient experience.
* Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
* Valid Dental Hygienist licence or equivalent qualification.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry, ensuring accurate assessments and treatments.
* Experience with CAD software is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
