Senior Digital Product Designer
12-month FTC (Maternity Cover)
Start: end of March
Salary: £65,000 + guaranteed 15% bonus + benefits
We are delighted to be looking for a Senior Digital Product Designer to join an iconic luxury retail brand on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role blends product design and high-end digital creative, shaping the experience across digital platforms and brand touchpoints.
You’ll play a key role in designing and evolving digital products from early concept through to delivery, combining strong UX thinking with refined visual craft. On the product side, you’ll prototype and develop innovative digital experiences and campaign-driven ideas. You enjoy collaborating with product, engineering and brand teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
A fashion or beauty folio is not essential although designing for a luxury lifestyle brand and retail platforms is a must. You care deeply about design quality, craft, detail and have slick, modern and engaging digital aesthetics.
The role:
• Lead the design of new digital products and features from concept to launch
• Shape and evolve UX and UI across existing and future digital platforms
• Translate product requirements into clear user journeys, flows and prototypes
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions
• Contribute creative concepts and prototype new digital experiences
• Present design ideas and rationale clearly to cross-functional stakeholders
• Develop and maintain the digital design system to ensure consistency across products
• Produce high-quality design outputs from wireframes through to production-ready UI
• Help continuously improve the performance and experience of global brand websites
You:
• 8+ years’ experience in digital product design (UX/UI)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end digital craft, product thinking and ecommerce design
• Experience building and working within design systems
• Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive web design
• Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and interaction design
• Ability to work confidently with product, engineering and brand stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of visual design
• Figma, very good knowledge of design systems, and ecommerce web design.
• Bonus: AI product design (Figma Make, Claude code, Cursor, Loveable, Framer..) or similar
