Responsibilities and duties of the Electronic Technician role Reporting to the Group Operations Manager you will: Repairing and refurbishing the ageing equipment found in power stations Fault finding down to component level To build and repair electronic circuit boards Some opportunities to design and build test equipment and systems Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Ideally strong electronics technical knowledge, including component-level repair Ability to read and interpret technical documentation accurately Analytical and practical problem-solving skills with strategic thinking Clear communication skills across oral, written, and diagrammatic formats Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment Personal skills The Electronic Technician role would suit someone who has: Excellent interpersonal skills and effective team collaboration Innovative and creative, while adhering to defined processes Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Salary and benefits of the Electronic Technician role Up to £35,000 DOE 25 days holiday plus bank holidays 3pm finish on Friday Parking on-site Flexibility - please ask about alternative patterns during interviewAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
