About the Role
We're partnering with a top-tier leisure provider to recruit a Resort Operations Director to lead site maintenance, guest services, and team performance. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong operational and health & safety experience.
Responsibilities
* Report to the CEO, managing the upkeep and safety of park grounds and infrastructure
* Lead a team of maintenance and security staff, including seasonal hires
* Maintain a safe, high-quality environment for guests and residents
* Oversee contractor work (e.g. electrical, gas, plumbing), ensuring value and performance
* Plan and deliver seasonal maintenance schedules
* Handle on-the-ground issues, drive improvements, and ensure compliance
Essential Criteria
* 3-5 years in a senior operations or facilities role
* Team management and staff development experience
* Health & Safety knowledge, including risk assessments
* Experience with external contractors and cost control
* Strong organisation, leadership, and ICT skills
* UK or NI driving licence
Desirable
* Background in leisure, parks, or hospitality
* Experience with machinery and site improvement projects
* Familiarity with budgeting, KPIs, and quality standards
* NEBOSH or similar safety qualification
