Salary: Up to £95K + Excellent Benefits
Location: Watford (3 days p/w on site)
Are you a Snr Procurement Manager - with experience of developing category strategy and delivery of complex end-to-end sourcing projects across Marketing & Professional Services categories?
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in the on-going development of a Procurement function which is less than 2 years old, within an organisation renowned for it's focus and commitments around Sustainabiity and CSR, in what is a fast moving, technology led, market sector.
Role:
Key to your success in this role will be the ability to develop key stakeholder relationships with the Marketing, HR, Finance and Op's community, developing Procurement's "value proposition" with a broad cross section of internal stakeholders. Ultimately, you will be tasked with driving commercial value across a broad range of business critical categories - supporting the organisation's ambitious growth plans.
You will need to:
* embrace ambiguity, generating close collaboration across teams and constantly evolving sustainable procurement approaches that fully address procurement challenges and solve complex business problems.
* drive procurement compliance, managing commercial risk, delivering fair costs for the organization, negotiating regional agreements including prices and terms, and integrating sustainability within the supply chain.
* build and maintain vendor relationships to maximize value and to deliver a best-in-class supply chain across multiple spend categories
* deliver sustainable value by leading negotiations with vendors on the scope of work, commercials & contract, which will involve working with legal, finance, tax and other internal departments
Experience:
* Marketing, HR & Professional Services Procurement & Category Management experience
* Skills to influence and drive effective change in a fast paced environment
* Understanding sustainable procurement best practices and how to embed this into the sourcing process
* Self-motivation, tenacity, and a focus on delivery
* Gravitas, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
* Enthusiasm in sharing expertise and experience with other within your own discipline
* Ideally Degree and MCIPS qualified.
