GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to work in supportive and forward-thinking schools across Sheffield. As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical lessons that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills, helping students reach their full academic potential in a positive learning environment. Responsibilities of a Design and Technology Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across a range of abilities. Support students in developing practical skills using a variety of tools, materials, and technologies. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils. Monitor, assess, and track student progress effectively. Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop/classroom environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to enhance student learning outcomes. Design and Technology Teacher Skills & Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching Design and Technology in a school setting. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical and creative learning. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A proactive, organised, and enthusiastic approach to teaching. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
