Job: Installation & Monitoring Operative Location: Billericay, Essex Pay: £15.63 per hour weekly pay Hours: Full time Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm Type: Temporary role for up to 3 months About the Role We are an agency recruiting on behalf of Basildon Council for a field based role focused on reducing fly tipping across the district. You will start and finish each day at the recycling centre in Billericay and travel to hotspots to set up and maintain CCTV. Training is provided and the work suits someone who enjoys being out on the road and taking ownership of practical tasks. What You Will Do • Drive to different fly tipping hotspots across the borough • Set up CCTV equipment and signage on site • Complete basic paperwork linked to GDPR and evidence handling • Change batteries and SD cards on cameras • Review initial footage and report any concerns What We Are Looking For You need a driving licence for this role as you will be using a council vehicle each day. Experience in CCTV security enforcement environmental services waste management facilities or field service roles could transfer well but this is not essential. A practical mindset with good attention to detail is important.
