You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset.You will also have the opportunity to become familiar with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) and culture of Baker Hughes. as well as our strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering and Technology InternshipAssist in the design and development of gearbox components, including gears, shafts, bearings, and housings, ensuring compliance with performance and reliability standards.Participating in the design process, creating detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software, and contribute to the development of new products or technologies.Keep detailed records of design iterations, calculations, and test results. Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvementsCollaborate in product development and process improvements tasks with engineers.Working as part of a team and communicating effectively with colleagues, engineers, and supervisors to achieve project goals, and identifying and addressing technical issues or challenges that arise during projects and proposing solutions.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a BachelorsMasterslevel degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, other STEM-related or business-related program.Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your countryBe fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills.Be able to legally work in the country that you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restrictionWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
