The Role
Working within the Operational Accounts team to ensure payments are made daily, purchase invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner, and that client bank accounts are reconciled on a regular basis. This role will need ocassional visit to the office (possibly once a month / quarterly meetings) but can be performed mostly remote.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing task workflow.
* Make GBP and foreign payments and deal with any questions/compliance issues that arise.
* Carry out daily/weekly bank reconciliations and investigate anything that cannot be reconciled.
* Processing purchase invoices from our providers.
* Sending of sales invoices and payment remittances to our clients/providers.
* Complete monthly and other adhoc tasks.

Requirements
Qualifications
GCSE Maths and English (Grades A-C) - Essential
Accountancy - Would be an advantage but not essential as company provides study support
Skills
Computer knowledge to include Outlook, Work and Excel - Essential
Have strong written and verbal communication skills and a good telephone manner
Experience
At least 1 years' experience in an accounting environment - Desirable
Characteristics
Excellent attention to detail, numerical, organised, integrity, flexible, and confidential.
Be able to work on own initiative as well as in a team.
Be able to work to deadlines.
