Domestic Considerations: An FTRS (HC) appointment that attracts no X-factor pay nor any Home to duty travel. Nights Out Of Bed (NOOB)/Separated Service (SS) is not expected and purely conducted on a voluntary basis by the position incumbent. Any unit visit will be conduct during the working day which may include extended hours. T&S will be granted IAW current Army policy IOT support official working events and visits. Place of work is RHQ REME with some flexible working and WFH arrangements may be available. Position Role: All duties will be allocated by and completed under the guidance and direction of the REME CAL, and in line with the direction and guidance within the Army Apprenticeship Programme Standing Operating Procedures and ACSO 3232 and IAW all MoD Information and Communications management policy. The SNCOg will: 1. Lead on Digital Platform Management: Maintain and update the REME Apprenticeship Defence Connect page and SharePoint Online (SPoL) site. 2. Drive delivery of the Communication Strategy: Coordinate main ‘push’ and ‘pull’ communications to promote the REME Apprenticeship Programme across the Field Force. Coordinate the creation and distribution of regular updates, newsletters, and bulletins to all stakeholders. 3. Data Management: Monitor apprenticeship data such as the Progress Tracker, OneFile and Maytas; highlighting and reporting inaccuracies for correction. 4. Content Creation and Digital Training Resources: Coordinate the development and maintain high-quality digital resources, including training videos, exploitation of the DLE, user guides, and FAQs, to support the programme. 5. Social media and Outreach: Manage and oversee the REME Apprenticeship social media presence, ensuring content is engaging, informative, and aligned with Army policies. 6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement new digital tools and technologies to enhance the apprenticeship experience. Coord the trialling and evaluation of emerging technologies, such as Augmented Reality (AR), to support ‘On the Job’ training and evidence collection. 7. Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct (with CAL) and maintain Stakeholder Analysis activity that will regularly grade, group and prioritise the programme stakeholders. Act as the digital liaison between REME RHQ, Field Force units, apprentices, mentors, the Service Provider and external agencies. 8. Equipment and Promotional Material Control: To coordinate the allocation, use and maintenance of Digital Hardware and promotional material (physical and soft) held or in the charge hands of the REME Apprenticeship Team. 9. Incumbents will be required to support wider apprenticeship programme activity as required.
