What skills and experience we\'re looking for
St Thomas Aquinas is a successful and happy school. Our Mission Statement, “I have called you by your name; you are mine”, Isaiah, 43:1, sets out our aim to provide the best education possible for each individual child. To help us achieve this aim, we are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and committed Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in our exciting new Nursery setting. The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, is essential for this role.
Qualifications and requirements
* The ideal candidate will have a relevant Early Years NVQ3 that meets the Early Years Educator (EYE) criteria.
* GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in both English and Maths.
* Highly motivated with high expectations and the ability to work in an environment that puts children first.
