Contract Civil Design Engineer – Roads / Infrastructure (Outside IR35)
Location: Scotland (Hybrid Working) Rate: £30–£45 per hour Contract Length: 12+ months IR35 Status: Outside IR35
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Design Engineer to support a major programme of infrastructure and highways projects for a leading engineering consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
* Civil engineering design for roads, highways and infrastructure projects
* Producing design models and drawings
* Supporting project delivery from concept through to detailed design
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated designs
* Ensuring designs comply with relevant UK standards and regulations
Requirements
* 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering design
* Strong experience in roads, highways or infrastructure projects
* Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D - essential
* Experience with drainage design software - preferred
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status preferred but not essential
* Familiarity with relevant UK design standards
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
