The Education Commissioning Team is seeking an enthusiastic and organized person to take on the role of Commissioning Support Officer. You will join a friendly, hardworking, and committed team within the Children and Families Directorate.
Main Responsibilities
* You will provide support to the entire Education Commissioning team on a range of activities covering education, special educational needs and disabilities, and alternative provision.
* Oversee the use of AV1 Robots as an educational tool, managing their allocation, monitoring usage, and supporting staff and schools with information about AV1.
* Provide administrative and analytical support, including managing the alternative provision dynamic purchasing system (DPS), monitoring attendance, developing and analyzing surveys, data entry, and day-to-day administration of the DPS.
The Ideal Candidate
* NVQ III in Business Administration (or equivalent) or previous experience in business administration.
* ICT skills, including proficiency in Excel, data collection, and analysis techniques.
* Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Enjoy working with practitioners and committed to improving outcomes for children and young people.
