Under the hierarchical responsibility of the IBCPPI EPR Installation Engineering Unit Manager and under the functional responsibility of the HPC Installation Project Manager, the HPC Mechanical Installation Leader is in charge of the proper preparation of the site operation related to the following installation activities:
* Package EM2.1: Erection of main primary system component
* Package EM2.2: Erection of reactor equipment
* Package EM11.2: Assistance to commissioning
* Package EM6: Primary Insulation
Responsibilities and activities
* Coordinate EM2, EM6 and EM8 technical integrators
* Work closely with EM2 Site and head office Methods teams
* Collaborate with Installation Manager Units 1 and 2, EM2 and EM6 Package Managers
* Engage with NNB Program and Technical teams, UK4101 Project PMO, and Head office Engineering
* Oversee HPC Project activities for the mechanical installation scope
* Manage documentation: LOD, documentation process, 6WLA
* Support the Installation Project Manager in preparing PFR
* Provide contractual support to GCs and EW preparation related to Installation Engineering Open Points
* Manage configuration: TCN opening, follow up, notification
* Coordinate interfaces inputs: IDT, RFI, CR
* R&O: participate and support on mechanical installation scope
* Communicate through weekly site meetings to maintain links between Site & Head Office
* Follow up on specific topics on a case-by-case basis (e.g., Peelable varnish on PZR nozzles, internals gap measurements)
* Maintain NN B interfaces and provide technical follow-up and assistance
* Provide daily technical clarifications and readiness review preparation
* Adopt a collaborative approach with NNB for overall HPC installation topics
* Follow up documentation ongoing activities and organize weekly installation readiness meetings
* Prepare meeting slides and manage Action Minutes (MoM)
* Support FRA interfaces and input clarifications for Installation Teams, ensuring visibility with other HPC project stakeholders
* Attend weekly interface meetings with DTIM
* Follow up on specific topics as required
Location: HPC Site
Expected expatriation duration: From 3 to 5 years
Degree: Mechanical Engineer’s degree, ideally with first “nuclear boiler” experience
Ideal: transverse and/or direct coordination experience
