We're looking for someone who is organised, has great attention to detail, and enjoys using their finance and administrative skills in a varied and meaningful role. This position involves working with numbers and spreadsheets alongside supporting clients and collaborating with the team. Full training will be provided, but you'll need strong attention to detail, excellent IT skills, and a confident, professional manner on the phone and by email.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Process, review, and file supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and authorisation
* Reconcile supplier statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues quickly
* Maintain accurate records in spreadsheets, covering accommodation, taxis, bike hire, and guiding services
* Manage the weekly payment calendar
* Chase outstanding payments from clients
* Liaise with partner agencies to ensure timely settlement and up-to-date payment records
* Support clients throughout their journey by booking accommodation, arranging taxi and luggage transfers, preparing route notes, and ensuring a smooth delivery of their Cotswold tours
* Provide general office and administrative support, helping the team where needed
Experience & Skills Required
* At least 2 years' experience in a busy office environment
* Familiarity with Excel and spreadsheets
* Experience liaising with clients, chasing payments, and ensuring smooth service delivery
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Office administration skills: filing, maintaining records
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise deadlines, and work independently while contributing to a team
* High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and reliability
Nice to have
* Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes, including invoice processing, and reconciliations
* Basic understanding of bookkeeping/accounting principles
* An interest in walking and/or cycling
* Knowledge of the Cotswolds
* Occasional weekend cover may be requested. This is not a mandatory part of the role, however any flexibility will be appreciated.
