Overview
The Science team are looking for an enthusiastic team-player to join their successful team. We have an exciting opportunity within the department to work within our Science and Public Services department. We are looking for a Science Laboratory Technician/Assistant to provide day to day practical support for teaching and learning within the science courses.
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day practical support for teaching and learning within the science courses.
* Assist the teaching team in the delivery of their programmes, supervise and maintain practical work areas to ensure a high quality student learning experience, and maintain and source equipment.
Qualifications
* Desirable: experience of supporting and/or delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics to a Level 3 and Higher Education Level 4 standard.
* Experience of working in a lab, in addition to up-to-date technical know-how and knowledge of Health and Safety at Work regulations.
Details
* Working pattern: 37 hours per week; may be required to work across both Watford and Hemel Hempstead campuses.
* Closing date: Monday 3 November 2025. Start: January 2026.
