Key Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and sanding.
* Operate spray equipment to apply paints, stains, lacquer or other coatings to products or surfaces.
* Maintain and clean spray equipment after use to ensure optimal performance as well as managing waste control.
* Inspect finished work for quality assurance, ensuring that it meets specifications.
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
* Communicate effectively with team members regarding project requirement and timelines.
* Assist with deliveries and stock management.
* Must be able to work to a high standard.
* Must be able to mix stains/paints to colour match.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
* Previous experience in spraying/finishing furniture (Minimum of 5 years experience).
* To be able to work in an efficient, tidy and organised way.
* Attention to detail.
* Good practical skills.
* Ability to follow written instructions and keep records.
* A safety-conscious approach to work.
* The ability to work on your own and in a team.
Wage negotiable.
