* Annual salary of £36,557 (FTE)
* Permanent role
* Full-time (35 hours), part-time and flexible working patterns available
* This role will be based at either the Liverpool, Fleetwood or Oldham office (depending on your location), hybrid working available

The role

The Senior Safeguarding Officer will provide line management for 2 Safeguarding Officers and Safeguarding services across one of our Regenda Homes regions.

You will be expected to manage safeguarding cases and welfare concerns from start to finish, offer professional advice and guidance to staff including legislation, organisational and local authority policy and procedures. You will help to develop, implement and embed an organisational framework.

You would also be expected to develop and maintain good working relationships with partner agencies and local authorities.

The right fit

* You must have experience in safeguarding and social housing.
* You are able to treat all customers with diligence, respect and care.
* Experience dealing with Dometic Abuse, Hate Crime and Mental Health referrals is desirable to help us achieve the best possible support for vulnerable customers.
* You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* You must be methodical, accurate and have a keen eye for detail with your work including organisational skills in order to meet deadlines.
* You have, or are willing to work towards, safeguarding qualifications.
