Your role as Service Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys transformation, structure and positive change.
In this role, you will:
Lead the day‑to‑day running of an 8‑bedded residential service
Provide confident, visible leadership to the staff team
Reset and strengthen team culture
Embed systems, structure and consistent practice
Drive quality improvement and ensure compliance
Implement and review person‑centred support plans
Conduct assessments, supervisions, appraisals and performance oversight
Ensure safe medication practices and audit readiness
Work closely with families, local authorities and professionals
Deliver against regulatory and organisational requirementsYou’ll play a key role in stabilising the service and ensuring the people we support receive safe, high‑quality, empowering care.
Who we’re looking for
This role is ideal for a seasoned manager, not a first‑time leader.
Essential experience:
Registered Manager or experienced Service/Care Manager in adult social care
Expertise in learning disabilities, autism and complex needs
Proven ability to turn around services or drive major quality improvements
Strong understanding of:
Safeguarding
CQC standards
Quality frameworks
Risk management
