Location: Bourne End, Berkshire (near Marlow)
Salary: £29,120 – £34,120 per year (DOE)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our therapeutic children’s residential home in Bourne End.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Support Worker ready to move into a leadership role while continuing to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

Your Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will support both young people and the staff team, helping to maintain a positive, stable and supportive home.
You will:
* Provide consistent emotional and practical support to children and young people
* Lead shifts and act as a role model for junior staff
* Support the development and delivery of individual care and therapeutic plans
* Create a safe, structured and nurturing home environment
* Ensure safeguarding procedures and care standards are always maintained
* Work collaboratively with families, professionals and external agencies
* Maintain clear and accurate records and contribute to reviews and reports
About You
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient and committed to therapeutic care.
You will have:
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Desirable
* Experience working in a children’s residential care setting
* Previous shift-leading or leadership experience – Highly desirable
* Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills
* A calm, empathetic and child-centred approach
* Full UK driving licence – Preferred
