Job Description
Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts within a structured and time-sensitive reporting cycleManage accruals, prepayments, FX adjustments and maintain strong balance sheet integrityProduce variance analysis with clear commentary to support operational and strategic decisionsSupport budgeting, forecasting and ongoing financial planning activitiesTake ownership of stock accounting and cost analysis, critical within a manufacturing environmentWork closely with internal teams to provide insight and support business performanceAssist with audits, tax compliance and liaise with external stakeholders including HMRCIdentify and drive improvements across processes, controls and reportingThe Successful Applicant
Proven manufacturing background (automotive, aerospace, engineering or similar), with a strong understanding of stock, product costing and operational financeMinimum 4-5 years' experienceDriven, proactive and ambitious, with the confidence to challenge and improve processes rather than just maintain themQualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or strong finalist/part-qualified in exceptional cases)Strong technical accounting skills, including balance sheet management, accruals, prepayments and FXExperience of delivering accurate month-end reporting within tight deadlinesConfident working with audits, compliance and external stakeholders (e.g. HMRC)Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships across finance and operationsComfortable working independently within an on-site, hands-on environmentWhat's on Offer
