Special Needs Teaching Assistants – Winchester
A specialist primary school in Winchester is seeking caring and enthusiastic individuals to join its team as Special Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs). This rewarding role involves supporting children with a range of additional needs, including autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, communication and interaction challenges, and sensory needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing, structured environment.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils’ learning, communication, and emotional development. Daily activities may include adapting lessons, encouraging positive behaviour, assisting with sensory or play-based learning, and providing personal or mobility support where needed.
