The post holder will be responsible for undertaking clinical and administrative duties related to immunisation, primarily delivered on-site for primary and secondary children in schools and community clinic settings.
Main duties of the job
1. Vaccinate 20 to 25 school children per hour during flu season.
2. Work collaboratively to support the team, organisation, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth service delivery.
3. Promote and support the operation of our School Aged Immunisation Service.
4. Support Programme Managers, Team Lead, and Clinical Lead as applicable.
5. Attend sites across different locations as needed.
6. Deliver effective, evidence-based, and competent care to patients.
7. Participate in clinical supervision and staff development.
8. Ensure all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints are reported and processed according to organisational policies.
9. Participate in audits, make recommendations, and share outcomes for learning.
10. Attend clinical supervision with the Clinical Lead as directed.
11. Contribute actively to team meetings.
12. Undertake Gillick Competency Assessments and obtain verbal consent from parents and caregivers.
13. Undertake other duties as appropriate for the role.
14. Comply with company policies and procedures.
15. Work between 7am and 6pm on a rostered basis.
16. Pickup and drop vaccinations back to base when needed.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse, Pharmacist, or Allied Healthcare professional registered with governing bodies such as NMC, GPhC, HCPC. Nursing and/or Midwifery qualifications. Basic Life Support certification (Desirable). Evidence of competencies for relevant vaccinations (Desirable).
* Ongoing professional development evidence. Experience working within PGD frameworks. Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule. Knowledge of informed consent principles. Computer literacy, including Excel. Knowledge of cold chain management, ordering, and transport arrangements.
Skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Customer service and people management skills. Assertiveness, team orientation, and critical thinking. Driving license (Desirable).
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This position requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 to screen for any criminal convictions.
