We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Buyer to lead the end-to-end strategic sourcing process across various general and indirect categories within IAG Transform.
This role is pivotal in executing category strategies that drive significant value, innovation, and risk mitigation across the organization, working closely with stakeholders across the wider IAG Group companies (OpCos).
Your responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end sourcing processes for indirect categories, including RFP development, supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting.
* Implement category strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on cost optimization, supplier consolidation, and innovation.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders across OpCos to define specifications, align sourcing strategies, and ensure business needs are met.
* Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing market insights and procurement expertise.
* Draft and negotiate contracts using IAG Transform templates and coordinate with legal teams to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
Your skills, experience and qualifications
* Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in strategic (category) procurement, ideally within indirect services (e.g., professional services, corporate services, or general indirect spend).
* Proven ability to lead negotiations and manage complex sourcing projects in a matrixed organization.
* Strong contract drafting and commercial acumen, with knowledge of key clauses and risk mitigation strategies.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with e-sourcing tools and CLM platforms (e.g., Icertis) is required.
* Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
* Willingness to travel and work in a multi-site/location environment.
