About The Role
Barnsole Primary School is looking for a warm, enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant who can deliver HLTA-level support for two hours a week. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team where every adult plays a vital role in shaping confident, resilient and inspired learners.
In this role, you will:
* Support pupils with their learning across a range of ages and needs
* Deliver small group interventions and provide in-class support
* Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive and engaging classroom experience
* Opportunity to lead a class during HLTA time (2 hours per week) with confidence and creativity
* Help foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment where every child feels seen and supported
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who:
* Holds an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant subject
* Has experience working with children across KS1 and/or KS2
* Is calm, adaptable, and proactive
* Is a team player who shares our values of kindness, curiosity, and aspiration
* Feels confident leading learning and supporting pupil progress
