Role Overview:
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects within commercial, education, and industrial sectors, including plant refurbishments. Working closely with our dedicated team, you will ensure the successful delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to project budgets and timelines. This role offers the opportunity to work with a supportive family-run company and contribute to impactful projects in Coventry and London.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budgets, and schedules.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate efficient project delivery and resolve any project-related issues.
Oversee all aspects of project planning, including resource allocation, procurement, and risk management.
Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress to ensure quality standards and safety regulations are met.
Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and potential risks.
Travel to project sites in London as required, overseeing project activities and liaising with onsite teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the construction industry, preferably with experience in commercial, education, and industrial sectors.
Electrical engineering qualifications and management certifications are essential.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and regulations, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Willingness to travel to project sites in London as needed.
