This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment where you will make a meaningful impact on pupils' learning and wellbeing.\n\nKey responsibilities of the Senior Teaching Assistant role include:\n\nActing as a Cover Supervisor, managing whole classes during short-term teacher absences in Milton Keynes.\nDelivering targeted support through small group and withdrawal group interventions.\nLeading a team of Assistant Teachers, supporting their professional growth and training.\nCollaborating closely with teaching staff to assist throughout the planning cycle and in preparing classroom resources.\nSupporting the delivery of the national curriculum, and contributing to the development of pupils, support staff, and Academy policies.\nWorking with pupils with a range of needs, including SEN and EAL, to promote achievement and independent learning.In this Senior Teaching Assistant role, you will work within a structured teaching framework, provide detailed lesson and behaviour feedback, support learner motivation, and encourage inclusion in line with the Academy's values. You'll also monitor pupil progress, assist with assessments, and attend parent meetings as part of the wider teaching team in Milton Keynes.\n\nAs a senior member of staff, you will take on mentoring responsibilities, guide Assistant Teachers, and contribute to staff training and development.
