We are recruiting Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools during teacher absences. In this role, you will be the lead figure in the classroom, using pre-prepared lesson plans and resources to ensure learning continues seamlessly. While no planning or marking is required, your presence is vital to maintaining a calm, productive, and safe environment for pupils aged 11-16. Who is this role ideal for? Flexibility: Work across a variety of subjects and different school settings. What We're Looking For Confidence: Ability to manage and lead groups of students (Ages 11-16). Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and fluent English. Education: Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades 9-4 / AC) including English and Maths. Reliability: A professional, adaptable, and punctual approach to work. Compliance: An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one). Note: While a degree, PGCE, QTS, or Level 3 TA qualification is advantageous, your character and experience with young people are our primary focus.
