What you’ll be doing day to day:
Providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, ensuring clear and accurate answers.
Your duties will include:
* Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
* Handling technical aspects of the dispensary, including ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
* Complying with legal and professional requirements and guidance in Boots.
* Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items.
* Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
What you’ll need to have:
We offer an exciting career opportunity. You should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser.
Additionally, you need a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent. If not completed, we will support your training within 6 months.
If interested in further development, we support achieving NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services to register with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially leading to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role. Your pay and benefits will reflect your professional growth.
