DevOps Engineer – Observability & Reliability
Location: Newcastle - 5 days on site
The Opportunity
Ensure complex, distributed systems run reliably at scale. You’ll join a fast-growing, elite engineering team where operational challenges are solved with engineering-grade solutions.
What You’ll Do
* Build CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
* Design observability, monitoring, and alerting that engineers trust under pressure
* Automate infrastructure and operational tasks
* Collaborate with engineers to improve system architecture and reliability
What We Expect
* Degree from a Russell Group university or equivalent
* 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering roles
* Strong practical experience with ELK Stack, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, etc.
* Deep understanding of distributed systems, fault tolerance, and cloud architecture
* Engineering mindset — you write code to solve operational problems
