We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Chef to join our team. As an Indian cuisine Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes for our customers, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and working collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Tandoor experience is essential.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
* Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery during peak hours
* Develop new menu ideas and recipes to enhance our menu offerings
* Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory levels
* Effectively manage kitchen operations, and maintain quality control
Requirements:
* previous tandoor experience required, a passion for cooking and a willingness to learn is essential
* Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desired Qualifications:
* Basic culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
* Familiarity with kitchen equipment and machinery especially tandoor
