About the RoleAs Operations Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring smooth day-to-day delivery across fast-track and complex construction projects ranging from £1m to £30m. The company operates multiple divisions - including Main Contracting, Special Projects and Fast Track - each requiring exceptional coordination, planning, and operational oversight.
* Oversee the operational delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
* Drive consistent performance across safety, quality, programme and cost, aligned with the company's core principles.
* Collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to maintain efficiency and high standards.
* Implement operational processes that reflect the company’s commitment to transparency, innovation, and non-adversarial working.
* Ensure projects uphold the company’s reputation for delivering safely, on time, and within budget.
What You Need
* Proven experience in a senior operational role within the construction sector.
* Strong leadership abilities with the capability to manage multiple fast-moving projects.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management across client teams and supply chain partners.
* A solutions-driven mindset aligned with the company's “positive can-do attitude” and ownership ethos.
* Deep understanding of construction delivery, risk management, logistics and compliance.
* The ability to embed operational consistency across diverse construction environments, including industrial, commercial, education and retail sectors.
