For a balanced planet.Our purpose: Together, we create amazing technology that unlocks access to energy for the benefit of all.Location: Stonehouse, GloucestershireScope:bImplements sourcing plans\/ tactics to effectively manage the sourcing activities related to his\/ her assigned project portfolio.Provides sourcing and procurement support, ensuring parts are sourced in a cost-effective and timely manner from suitable vendors.Works with the assigned project teams to meet critical project timelines, prioritizing work and communicating progress in cadence reviews\/ through tracking mechanisms.Defines part & assembly parameters for systematic Purchase Order release.Assesses supplier capabilities and makes recommendations for new supplier onboarding.Understands strategies for assigned commodities & proactively drive initiatives to meet departmental objectives.Responsibilities:Order ManagementProcess purchase orders and sales orders accurately in ERP systemsTrack order status and ensure timely deliveryUpdates in the system when dates have been movedSourcing SupportFollow-up on request for quote (RFQ) packagesEnsuring accurate documentation, sending additional documentation as necessarySupplier CoordinationCommunicate with suppliers regarding lead times, deliveries, and order confirmationsResolve discrepancies in invoices or shipmentsQualifications:Bachelor Degree in Procurement \/ Sourcing \/ Manufacturing \/ Operations \/ Business economics related disciplineProcess and quality improvement drivenExperience with data management and control principlesProficient in MS Office apps, SAP (favourable) or other ERP systemNegotiation and decision making skillsSLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
